Very sweet cottage, conveniently located in New Berrima, a very short drive to Berrima town. There's a fireplace, that is super cozy and so fast to warm up the living room. We loved the firepit outside too! The kitchen is small, but nicely equipped with all the basics (salt, spices, oil, coffee, tea and milk in the fridge). Games in the living room were a lovely homey touch too.

The quirkiness of the house and the heating in every room, my husband loved the pinball machine. It was a few minutes by car to drive into town, in the summer it would be a nice walk.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was tastefully decorated with loads of space and beds were comfy. Everything was clean and well stocked with coffee, teas and a nice cold white wine in the fridge together with fresh milk and Lurpak butter, which was very appreciated since we are from Denmark :) Instructions before checking in was thorough and easy and we would definetely come back!

My husband and I had a truly enjoyable long weekend at Apple Tree Lane. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the wonderful hospitality of Marg and Butch. Their attention to detail was thoughtful and very much appreciated – from the beautifully presented visitors’ guide to Bowral, full of suggestions for local walks and attractions, to a charming introduction to the hosts’ own story. The cottage itself was clean, cosy, and full of character, nestled in a beautifully maintained garden. It was clear a lot of care goes into keeping everything in excellent condition. We especially enjoyed the extra-warm shower after our days out exploring – such a treat! The cottage is walking distance to to the local shops and restaurants and attractions. All in all, a comfortable and peaceful escape. We would gladly recommend Apple Tree Lane to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Bowral area

Superb shower! Wonderfully and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed (albeit only a double). Everything that is required is provided - thank you. Short drive (or walk) to centre of town to shops and restaurants.
