The landscape and the peace are amazing

Everything! What a wonderful comfortable house. I actually returned a few nights after my initial stay because it was so beautiful and comfortable. Perfect quiet location, beautiful garden and amazing view from the living room and the outdoor space and furniture was very comfortable for early morning coffee. Very secure, amazing value and very helpful welcome and great communication before and during my stay. The little welcome tray of tea and snacks and fruit was a nice unexpected touch. The whirlpool outside looked lovely but I was always returning from hiking and by the time I showered I didn't get to it. The AC was quick and strong. I had overpaid for my stay when I left and was immediately contacted and they asked how they could get the extra to me. Since I returned I just applied it to my second stay.

Right by the beach and secluded and quiet with great wildlife. Place has strong fans and good windows and air flow. Hammock outside with a sloth and monkeys in trees. Carlos is the best host ever and goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home. I had a back injury while staying with him and he bought groceries and drove me to places and after I scratched my car helped fix it and take me to a local body shop. His kindness and help will stay with me forever. A true angel.

The place was close to town. We rested here for one day after a long day of travel before heading towards Matapalo. The AC in the bedroom was very nice. The host Jose was very nice. He is a surf instructor and we saw him in the water at Matapalo.

In a nice remote area. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful view from the restaurant/pool area.

Property right on the beach with everything you need; clean and spacious room, big bathroom, air conditioning, fast wifi, shared kitchen with private refrigerator in your room. Also, cooking oil was provided in kitchen. The area was quiet and the property only seemed like it had 3 units, making a more intimate environment.

Incredible forest view. The hot tub is a must. Also the open shower makes you want to stay all day in there. Can’t decide if I enjoyed it more during the night or during day time. Simply spectacular.

Josh the host was super nice, gave us a lot of recommendations. The house was clean and has quite good facilities. It's near the town if you have a car.

It was at the end of the road, quiet surroundings, lots of birds, cool jacuzzi tub, short walk to everything, flowers.

Vanessa was a great host and really easy to talk with. We stayed one night as we were doing the Corcovado 3 day tour and she didn’t even want us to pay hey for the parking. The house was perfect and location as well. Just have in mind that the place has no A/C that for us was not a problem.

The property was beautiful, comfortable, had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay so much and wished we had planned to stay longer. We highly recommend this property!

Casa Trogan is all about the location! Right up from the beautiful beach. Lots of wildlife and birds too. It's a very clean place and the hosts are very responsive. Great kitchen for cooking too!
