We loved our stay at Casa Gerbe so much that we stayed 4 nights instead of 2! Miguel the host is excellent, always taking time to recommend places of interest. The location of the property is just 4km from Aínsa but is situated with rural mountain views and to the rear of Casa Gerbe is a huge lake which is beautiful. We had a motorbike so the Pyrenees were fantastic for twisty mountain rides.

This place is a hidden gem!! It overlooks Añisclo Valley, the view from the rooms and the dining terrace are second to none. You will lose track of time gazing out over the distant mountains! The rooms are very comfortable, clean, well kept and the staff are so nice and helpful (both for our stay and recommending hikes in the area). They even have a couple enormous, beautiful and gentle livestock guardian dogs that hangout around the hotel. They are in fact guarding the local cattle and sheep, which form some of the food at your dinner table! The meals are amazing: fresh and local, grown in their garden or from their own livestock. They are located just 15m drive from Añisclo Valley, with some great hikes, and within 30-40m from Ordesa Valley ridge top, or 60m from its base. Enjoying their paella or grilled meat, with their selection of beers after a long days hike is hard to beat. Would gladly return!

Beautiful preserved old building, super small serene village, surrounded by woods, beautiful views, and mountains. The host served breakfast and coffee and also serenaded folks with some classical guitar. He was helpful and around if needed, but let’s people do their thing and enjoy the space. A very short walk from ancient trail networks so we enjoyed some walks.

Stephanie and Alain were wonderful hosts, going out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Even though we arrived after midnight, Stephanie was full of smiles and a strong arm to help with heavy luggage. The top room was fabulous and the views were fantastic. The building from the 1600s was unique and well appointed. Loved it.

Owner is very welcoming and friendly. She speaks good English. Dinner and breakfast is homemade at time you wish. Not many options but fresh and of good quality. We were offered a fresh welcoming drink. Paradores do not have this habit,,😭
