We enjoyed talking with the owners who have recently converted the stone farmhouse that has been in the family for five generations. It is built on the original Roman foundations. We liked eating at the local restaurant and enjoying the quiet of the village far from modern lugo. Great hospitality. Our room featured a bathroom made to look like a forest. It is all part of the wonderful and whimsical artistic style of our stay.

The property is beautiful, spacious, and clean, tucked away in a quiet back street outside of Lugo, but easy private parking next to the property (very rare in Spain), and an easy drive into the city, and close to both a small grocery store and a pharmacy. Functional in every way, and good air conditioning, which we also rarely found in Spain. The host (Pedro) was responsive and attentive. Delivered an incredible breakfast for our crew of 6 before we left (biggest croissants I have ever seen).

What a nice hidden gem. This is a beautiful house with easy access to El Camino. The space is nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out are super easy, even with bag transport. The host left some food items for breakfast and a couple of delicious tomatoes. Nice location in a very quiet street with just a short walk from the center of the town (Palas de Rei).
