Everything was simply perfect. By the lakeside, in the woods, with a campfire place and also a sauna overlooking the lake. The hosts, Mika & Meeri, are amazing and hospitable. They make you feel at home immediately giving you a short tour of the place and are there to assist with whatever you want. The location is 45 mins drive from Rovaniemi Airport, but everything is so scenic and the moment you enter the vicinity you feel you've come home far away from the hustle bustle of a chaotic city life. If you feel like you want more space for a larger group, then you do have the option to go for an extra cabin on the spot at a nominal price and you can even order homemade food if you're too tired to cook upon arrival. Will definitely love to come back to this property for a longer duration. Other sites close by to visit is The Ranua Wildlife Park and Korouoma National Reserve Hike. There are more activities provided by the hosts themselves, and they just live next door whenever you need them. Even though they do live next door just a few steps away, they never try to intrude or interfere. And just like your grandparents, they do check on you at regular intervals so that you don't feel lost or lonely.

Amazing cabbin to enjoy Finnish nature ! It was very well equipped and the whole group enjoyed the facilities! hope to return😍 be aware that this is a traditional mökki (cabbin) and there’s no running water or water in toilets ( there’s a traditional outside toilet) but for us was not a problem!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Artic River View. The location is beautiful and it was a nice drive from Rovaniemi. The house was perfect for two people. We had a great view and the house was clean and comfortable. The host are very responsive and kind. They answered our questions and provided information about the area.

The cabin is very cozy. It offers everything you would need to relax and cook for yourself. The fireplace is nice, even thought we never used it. The views from the balcony are amazing and the level of quiet is very relaxing. It was very very cold when we were there but the cabin retains heat very well. The owner was very responsive and Joonas (the manager) went out of his way to address our concerns. He even drove us into town one night. What wonderful people.

Very comfortable home. Nice sauna, stocked with plenty of dry wood. Lovely riverside shelter. Location was close enough to youtisdo tourist items for convenience. But far enough to feel the nature and escape light pollution.
