We spent one night at L’akva village and were pleasantly surprised. Despite the few amount of reviews, this place is a true hidden gem. The interiors are cozy and thoughtfully designed, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. With stunning views, a nearby river and creek, and adorable puppies and a kitten on the property, it was a tranquil retreat. My girlfriend, who is usually uneasy in nature, felt completely safe and comfortable here. We wish we could have stayed longer

First thing to keep in mind as a traveler: choose this place if you want a calm, quiet place to ground yourself and practice mindfulness for a period of time. That means although you get magical experience, you will have to serve yourself ie wash ur own cloths, do your own dishes, maybe prepare your own meals, clean up after yourself… this is not a hotel, but more like a commune. Now, where do I begin with the perks? First of all the beautiful scenery takes your breath away. There’s this sense of community that feels loving, and every little thing is personalized and cared for, such as the hand picked flowers on the tables each morning, or the lovely little trinkets and cosy nooks along the forest. The hosts (as well as the other guests) were so warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Caleb for putting his magic into the food, which was prepared carefully and presented beautifully and on time every single meal from freshly picked herbs and vegetables. There were vegan and vegetarian options as well at every setting. Nina (the host) was lovely and attentive.
