Cottages in Manganari

First timers on the island of Ios, we arrived earlier than we thought but that was no biggie since Nikos, the property owner was already there waiting on us at the port. Well prepared, Nikos picked us up, gave us a bottle of ice cold water each, and a short ride later ( app. 10 mins), thru the beautiful chora ( center) of Ios, we arrived at Milopotas. The beach looked stunning and while parking the car a short walk from it we were just as amazed to see the Olive Tree Homes! What a beautiful property, stonewalls, woodworks and the typical gorgeous greek greenary, with loaded fig trees and wineplants mixed with huge cactus plants and bougainvilleas welcoming you on the path towards one of the houses. The Palmtrees here and there were giving a promise of an excellent vacation to come. We reached the house, Nikos unlocked and we stod there in awe. Everything, and I mean everything, from floor til ceiling was brand new! Very tasteful colors and handpicked furniture with an interior that oozes relaxation, comfort and luxury! And striking cleanliness everywhere, from the open kitchen/ living area, the big bedroom witch btw has the most comfort bed I ve ever slept in, the beautiful bathroom with the huge shower space and, also very tasteful decorated, all the way til the humongous patio...overlooking an open field staring straight at the beach. I mean, wow, was this gonna be our home for a while..? Happy, content satisfied, to say the least! Oh, not to forget the sweetest welcoming treat: On the kitchen table , there was a plate with handpicked fresh figs, and a delicious carrot cake waiting for us. Greek filoxenia in a nutshell. Needless to say but this was most def one of the nicest places I ve lived in. And Nikos is an excellent host, ready to serve and make you feel at home. Which you will. Olive Tree Homes will forever be one of my favs.

The most stunning and beautiful breathtaking place I’ve ever been. Words couldn’t do it justice. Close walk to the beach and restaurants yet very private quiet and peaceful large private pool separate rooms beautiful absolutely gorgeous. Thank you to the amazing people Lefteri and Sophia best place you could ever stay.

Clean room, close to one of the best beaches in Ios.

The property was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The room very clean and cute, the location was perfect - super close to the ferry port and the chora, and the host family was ABOVE AND BEYOND! They were the nicest family ever. They came to the ferry port to pick us up, help carry our bags, and walk us to the stay while also explaining the area and things to do. They created a whole guide of the best beaches, restaurants, clubs, and activities to do in Ios. They even helped us rent a car and helped us out with our car rental issue since our ferry left earlier than the cat rental place opened. The property and host family is the best stay i've ever booked!!!
