If you have the time, staying here is a must. It was such a revelation after we had the busy streets of jakarta. Ari and Uiung are fantastic hosts, and speak good English. Together with Ibu and their other friends, they can give you a true local jungle experience, with local food, great views, and fresh fruit and spices straight from the plants and trees. We loved every bit of it. In hindsight, we probably should've stayed a bit longer than only the 2 nights we did. As you would expect, it is simplistic, but that is also the appeal. They build these houses themselves, showers, and kitchen themselves! It is a great opportunity to really connect with locals in a non-touristy area. Cianjur is easily reachable through shuttle buses from Jakarta, Bandung and Bogor, bookable through Traveloka.

The place is very safe and beautiful. The owner is bery helpful, respectful and friendly. The villa has 3 big bedrooms with air conditioning, 4 big bathrooms, a living room with a smart tv, a kitchen and a beautiful garden. There is a sticker for the Qibla at the ceiling of the living room and 2 praying rugs, which was really helpful. Staying there was comfortable. We liked everything. The owner has an office to offer a ride with a driver who can take you anywhere for a good price.
