Remote location, quiet and serene

It had beautiful views. And the staff was really amazing. The food (especially dinner) was so delicious. We took a sunrise boat tour and the boat picked us up right at the property.

The villa sits right on Vembanad Lake, and the evening boat that picks you up (if you opt for it) from the property’s edge for a ride across the lake and canals is a highlight in itself. The grounds are beautifully kept — a private pool, a lily pond, a lakeside garden — and the only sounds throughout our stay were birds and cicadas. The caretakers live on-site and are remarkably attentive; a message was all it took to get anything sorted, from errands to a timely coffee. The food was exceptional — fresh Karimeen and prawns, classic Kerala preparations, and a kitchen that shared the day’s menu in advance and was happy to adjust dishes and spice levels to preference. Take the all-meals plan; there is no reason to eat anywhere else.

Little Chembaka is a one villa, 2 persons accommodation where you have the personal attention of the host/chef. The meals, (breakfast, lunch and dinner )that Jes cooked for us were exceptional; our sunrise cruise and village walk was so informative. As we eat our sumptuous meals, Jes sits and talks to us, about his life, his aspirations and we got to know so much about Kerala, in just 2 days!!

I had a wonderful stay at ama Stays & Trails Lily Pad, Kumarakom. From the moment I arrived, the property felt like a piece of heaven. The beautiful mango trees, with fresh mangoes naturally falling from the branches, created such a unique and memorable experience. It was truly special to enjoy fruit directly from the trees—something I had never experienced before. I chose the largest room on the property, and it was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with air conditioning, which was perfect for the warm weather. The balcony was another highlight, offering stunning views that made every moment feel peaceful and refreshing. The breakfast each morning was exceptional. Every day, I was served a fresh fruit platter along with freshly squeezed juice, such as mango juice or watermelon juice. It was a thoughtful and refreshing start to each day, and everything was delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Saho and another team member assisted me daily, and whenever I had any issue, they resolved it immediately with kindness and professionalism. I am genuinely grateful for their care and support. The property also has many beautiful and Instagram-worthy spots for photos, making the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxing, charming, and unforgettable. I am truly grateful for this experience and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

My stay at Seclude by the Lake in Alleppey was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking view of Vembanad Lake, along with the delightful staff, particularly Aneesh, and the delicious food made my experience truly memorable. Witnessing a beautiful sunrise added to the magic, and the clean and well-maintained rooms and bathrooms ensured a comfortable and pleasant stay. I highly recommend this place for a rejuvenating getaway.

Beautiful accommodation with clean rooms. Friendly hosts.

We had booked the apartment for 2 nights during our visit to Kumarakom for a medical conference. The apartment is located centrally and in close proximity to all major Kottayam spots. The hosts were very welcoming and their customer service was excellent. Rooms and bathrooms were well maintained and the stand out point was the outside courtyard. An ideal personal terrace. The breakfast provided by the hosts was also great. All in all it was a great stay. Shall return
