This is a very beautiful property if you're looking for an authentic Kerala house stay experience. It is sitting on a large property with well-maintained lawn and trees all around. You'll find a lot of indigenous plants, herbs, and vegetables around the house. It is a four-bedroom house with a hall, a separate dining area, another room adjacent to the kitchen with old-style Kerala storage, the kitchen, and a back area for the kitchen where the laundry machine and sink is provided. You would just enjoy staying in the place and have a relaxed holiday. Food delivery apps work here and the host will also provide some local restaurant contact which is helpful.

While searching in Google for a good homestay near Kozhencherry to attend a marriage function, I stumbled on this property, Swasthigriha Homestay which is just 3 Kms from Kozhencherry, in Aranmula. My selection didn't disappoint us since I was travelling all the way from the US with my wife and 2 children. The warm welcome from the host,Mr. Varma and his caretaker Mr. Rajendran chettan,from the beginning, made us feel very welcome and as if we are are visiting our own relatives. They truly follow the golden mantra in the hospitality industry "athithi devo bhava" The property is well maintained, and the inside ambiance is not just good, but luxurious. We booked the suite room, which has a big master bedroom with attached bathroom, living, dining, and a full kitchen with gas and stove top, which made us feel like our own home. The complimentary breakfast which we selected from the breakfast menu (puttu and kadala curry) was delicious. Overall a memorable stay experience. Thank you Mr. Varma and Rajendran chettan for your wonderful hospitality.
