The host, Yoshihiro-san, was very accommodating and friendly. He welcomed us wholeheartedly and took his time to explain the house and give recommendations for the surrounding area. The house itself is very well maintained. It is a beautiful mix between traditional and modern, and staying there was a cool experience.

Loved everything about the property, it’s sooo special and well kept

My wife and I will never forget our stay. We were hosted by the best hosts for first time is staying in the countryside. They were super friendly, sincere, and happy to answer questions about lifestyle and culture as we are someday planning to live in Japan. As foreigners, we felt welcome. Our meals were exceptionally prepared with ingredients, homegrown on their property. Definitely opt for dinner as well (got the seafood hotpot). In our past life they could have been my grandparents. Not only did we experience how it was to live in the Japanese countryside, but we connected and made friends with people from a different generation and culture. We need to bring our kids next time to share our experience. Highly recommend if you’re seeking a deeper connection than just a place to stay and eat.
