We stayed in an amazing apartment in Merzouga hosted by Youssef, and it was a great experience overall. The apartment was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds, and the living area was a nice place to relax after exploring the dunes. The small kitchen had what we needed for basic meals, and the air conditioning worked well in the main rooms. Youssef was a super helpful and kind host — he helped us arrange a camel ride to the desert, and gave us local tips about where to eat and what to see around the area. He was always available if we had any questions, but also gave us our privacy. The location is good — close enough to walk to local shops and cafés, and only a short walk or drive to the dunes. Large room, firm mattress, hot water in shower and sink, quiet. Owner, Mustapha, was friendly and accommodating. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Close to some of the largest dunes (at Sunset you can watch the camel trains pass by).
