Well equipped room with fridge and some self catering material. We ate dinner and breakfast at the main house and the dining room, the food and the service were exceptional. The weather was too cold to sit outside but the stoep offered a peaceful view across the plain.

Beautiful heritage home, rooms are spacious, clean and very well kitted with self-catering supplies. It was winter when we stayed there, but our rooms had aircon and an additional heater and ample warm blankets.
Dinner offering also available - We opted for cooked meals which Nita and Dolf delivers directly to your room, warm and fresh - the food was exceptional!!
Will definitely return!

The food, the food, the food! Nita was a great host and gave us a lot of information about the venue. Our cottages had everything we needed and the beds were nice and comfortable. It was really nice to walk around the property and witness our last magnificent sunset in Namibia. We loved browsing in the shop. The rusks we were given on arrival was much appreciated and delicious as was (did I mention it?) the food, which was delivered nice and hot by the owner, from the kitchen some distance away.

Our apartment/cottage was very comfortable and lovely. Plenty of space for just the two of us. Very private as well. Had an amazing home cooked dinner by the owners! They were very helpful and lovely.

Nice welcoming reception from the owner, and good restaurant and bar facilities for those not self catering. Swimming pool also as it is a very hot region of southern Namibia.
Quiet accommodation 2 mins off the main road with nice open views of the farmland around which can be enjoyed from the stoep outside along with nice big braai facilities and amenities in the kitchen area were good as we prefer to do our own food.

Liesl and Stefan are great hosts. Stefan speaks German. Our little house was fantastic, simple, clean ... all facilities you need. After intensive travelling the beds were like good medicine, the terrace as well. It is about nature, horizon, fantasy, freedom. Travelled 9 weeks through Africa from Cape Town to Dar. This location was the best. Will come again. Related to the countryside, the remoteness and the embedding into local agriculture the comfort was excellent. Simplicity means 5 star. Remote location in countryside north of Grunau. Nice chalet, small but enough space for 2. Outside seating area.
