I highly recommend staying at The Blue House in Las Lajas. The location of the hotel is ideal if you are planning to visit places in and around El Valle de Antón, La Laguna de San Carlos, Coronado and Gorgona beaches, and even the Chicá/Sorá/Altos Del Maria areas. The Blue House is located relatively close to zip lines, hiking trails, waterfalls, scenic peaks, bird-watching spots, rivers, etc. It is a nice place to stay if you enjoy being close to nature. The rooms are spacious and clean, with air conditioning and plenty of hot water. There is Wi-Fi available and the internet connection was very reliable. The hotel grounds are quite welcoming, with lots of vegetation and open spaces, including an equipped community kitchen and cozy pool area. The owners, Raul and his wife Denisse, were incredibly friendly and helpful. You’ll fall in love with their dog, Maru. My hotel stay was simply fantastic. It was just what I needed to relax and enjoy my stay in Panama.
