Location is everything.The facts that the room was big enough to turn the car (also the bathroom - with hot water at will and also the hall - bonus the fridge) and the parking itself is also generous and inside the protected area. The view including the one from room is what keep you alert or/and dreaming. The host(s) were like family! Barbecue amenities available but we did not use it. Shared kitchen available, not used.

Great place! Large and well-equipped kitchen. Wonderful garden with games for children! The owner of the property is welcoming and very nice. Good and easy communication. Also - we accidentally broke something in the property and the owner of the property was more than fair about it. In the end, he didn't charge us any extra money. Great location right on the Traspagras road. Highly recommended!

The home was in a beautiful setting and very quiet and peaceful. It is a great base for exploring the mountains. It was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very communicative, and we really appreciated the traditional breakfast our first morning. We highly recommend the Family Mountain Cottage.

Casa Iulia & Matei is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting near to the Transfagarasan road. The rooms are simple and cozy; and the dining room is spacious and well-equipped. There's a nice garden with a covered barbeque area, a terrace overlooking the mountain stream and direct access to the stream via a gate. I was concerned at first that the main road would be noisy, and that there would be bears roaming about; but we heard the sound of the stream more than the road; and the local dogs do an excellent job of keeping the bears away. The hosts are extremely welcoming, generous and kind - and are happy to help in any way they can.

The place is beautiful, very clean, with a lot of bedrooms and very comfortable. It is in a beautiful ubication with a stream next to the house. It is very recommended!

Excellent location, 30 min away from one of the best places you can be at, when thinking about mountains, top of Făgărășeanul! Great communication with owners and would love to return here! Awesome house with plenty of rooms and kids loves it since they all stepped in!
