This was a great stay with a very kind host family. The accommodation was just a pictured, clean, comfortable and private. Only steps from the beach and family restaurant, the location was perfect for me. If I come back this way I will stay with house no 3 again.

I feel very lucky to have ended up here. I needed a place to work on short notice, went on the internet and found Minds House. The house is tidy and simple, but large enough that there is more than enough space to work and live. The internet is stable and fast for video calls and large downloads. I turn on the aircon when I need it. There is a nice little garden to sit in and write or eat. There is a small kitchenette, with a refrigerator, microwave and hot water kettle. It has been simple to make coffee, to reheat food in the microwave. This has made it easy to work at my own pace and schedule, and still be able to eat whenever I need to. The house is near the main road, and a short ride from the beach. It is a quiet location, with lots of bird song and much less motor noise. There are many shops on the main road, it has been easy to find what I need. Dton and his family have been very helpful and accomodating. Their dogs are very sweet, I enjoy returning on the bike and seeing them come to check on me. The bike I rented from them is in good condition, the brakes are good, I have had no issues. The kitchen faucet had a small leak, which was fixed as promptly as I mentioned it. They have directed me to events such as the night market in town. There is a waterfall a short way down the road. Overall, I can only say good things about Minds House. It is definitely not a beach bungalow, but that was not what I wanted. I wanted something away from the main road, away from busy-ness, relaxing and quiet. Minds House was perfect.

The room looked the same as the photos and was very comfortable. The hosts were very sweet and sometimes delivered treats to us! Despite being right on a busy road, inside the room was quiet so we had no trouble sleeping. It was only a 15 min walk to the beach. The hosts on-site didn't speak English, but when needed, they could call their daughter, and she spoke very good English and would relay our message to her Dad. There are several restaurants, mostly specializing in seafood, very nearby. We found 1 that was willing to make us vegetarian dinner. The hosts also offered to take us to our next booking, about 20 mins away, which was so very kind!

Ning is such a good host and provides all the information and services you need. The beach is about a 2 minute walk from the property, and to be honest it was my favorite hidden gem in all of Ko Samui. It’s very quiet and feels local and genuine in this area. Away from the crowds, bars, etc. which is what I was looking for.

I really liked the place, calm, quiet. resort in an exclusive location, with an exclusive design. large, clean pool. nearby is a small town with a shop and a cafe. we recommend coming with a scooter, as we did not see a rental point around. near the sea, we recommend it to those who want peace
