We had a wonderful stay and truly loved this property. The location was fantastic—surrounded by nature and close to everything we wanted to do, including skiing at Mt. Rose, hikes for all age groups, scenic drives, and some of our favorite beaches like Sand Harbor, Ski Beach, and Kings Beach. And for anyone skiing at Diamond Peak, this property would be especially ideal. We also really enjoyed the beautiful flat walking paths along the lake. The home itself was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, so it really felt like a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable, the heating worked really well, the couches were cozy and perfect for relaxing, and having access to streaming made it easy to unwind at the end of the day. The hosts, through Grand Welcome, were clearly thoughtful in how they prepared the property, from the automated outdoor lights at night to the string lights that made the backyard feel especially inviting in the evening. We also appreciated having everything we needed for meals, including plenty of kitchen essentials in case we wanted to cook. Another thoughtful touch was how welcoming the property was for our dog—we loved the food and water bowls and the dog bed that had been provided, even though we had brought our own. Overall, there was really nothing we didn’t like about our stay. It was a lovely experience from start to finish, and we would absolutely love to come back again.

This was the perfect home base for our Tahoe trip! It had everything we needed and we especially appreciated being able to use the garage since we brought our bicycles with us. The host was very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. Excellent communication. We felt comfortable and slept well - very important! The coffee bar was also great to have in the morning! Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back again!

I loved the welcome basket with complementary items as well as how well stocked the kitchen was with useful items. Location was great as well. Cozy well decorated living room and the gas fireplace is wonderful.
