excellent location, close to camino real but very quiet. living rooms are nice and comfortable and there is a projector and screen in one of them and a rowing machine (we didn't try either but they look functional). The yard and front porch are nice to sit in the evening and the girls liked the kumquat tree

Location was excellent. The historic neighborhood was a delight to walk in. Within a 10 minute walk was a pedestrian street with a wide variety of restaurants, a Whole Foods, Target, movie theater, and more. Fast food and groceries a 10 minute walk in the other direction. A 15 minute walk gets one to the train station. Traffic was never bad in this area, while often being backed up in neighboring communities. From here, one can choose various routes to so many interesting destinations within an hour or two - state parks, beaches, wine country, Carmel-by-the-Sea and Monterey, San Francisco... The property owners are delightful and clearly care about their guests, having considered everything one might need, and stocking essentials beyond the bare minimum. This is a comfortable, quiet, spacious place to headquarter for anyone interested in enjoying this part of California. For almost two weeks it was a wonderful "home away from home." I would book here again without hesitation.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts were incredibly responsive and so helpful from start to finish. The property itself was stunning, and the outdoor space was peaceful retreat. Everything was spotless and perfectly stocked. The beds and couches were comfortable, and the bedding felt luxurious. The bathrooms were beautiful, and there was plenty of storage. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer, and even an iron and ironing board which we actually needed! I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone.

The primary reason we selected this property is because it was absolutely convenient to the venues, we were accessing for my granddaughter's volleyball tournament. However, the property was as advertised and clean. It was in immaculate condition and the owner provided me with all the necessary information regarding entry upon arrival and the house rules. Finally, the location, in and of itself, is perfect. I anticipate coming back to this property if future volleyball tournaments are hosted in San Jose in the future.
