Stayed here a night and very happy with the choice. The room was clean and cozy and the best thing of course was the balcony facing the ocean...heaven! I sat out there quite a bit, what a view, especially for sunset. A very nice gentleman runs the place and speaks excellent English. Breakfast provided but I left really early so he gave me some coffee plus some hard-boiled eggs to take with me. You can order dinner there, I got a chicken dinner for 700 CVE and it was really good and big portions. The room did not have A/C but I really didn't need it, there is a fan provided and things cool down nicely at night. Great choice and a great value...thank you!

The place is directly on the beautiful black beach, endless.. pure nature. The ocean is just there.. wonderful sound to fall asleep with. I am not sure how many places of this kind are left.. The manager was hugely helpful to organize activities and solve any issue. The photos show the beach by the property and climbing Pico do Fogo.

This is an exceptional, spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed house where the owner has thought of every detail and provided every loving and luxury touch one can possibly need during their stay! We really loved the owner who was extremely helpful, very humble and a native of Fogo. He knows all the most beautiful spots to discover on Fogo and is an expert host.
