We really enjoyed our stay at Morika Villa. The view here is absolutely spectacular, especially during sunrise! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large bathrooms and a shared kitchen. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with anything like renting a bike or organizing tours. The food at the restaurant was also good, with a variety of dishes to choose from.

The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped me organize a bus to Timor-Leste and morning drop off to the bus station as well. The guest house itself is brand new and modern with WIFI, TV, AC, Fridge and a all the other amenities you would expect. You can also rent a bike for a reasonable price to help you get around. I would stay here again 100%

Eddy the host was amazing! He went above and beyond to help me with my ferry booking by contacting a few friends and driving me to the office to reserve a cabin. He helped me with a bike rental and gave some recommendations for exploring Sumba. The location is quiet and beautiful, with a nice view and plenty of horses around the property. The room and balcony were large and had everything needed for a comfortable stay

The room was new, spacious, and very clean. The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

We had an absolutely incredible stay here! The rooms and bedrooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is comfortable, charming, and perfectly located near the Kelimutu volcano. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and genuinely attentive, making us feel at home from the very first moment. As for the breakfast—it is simply incredible, super generous, and the perfect fuel before or after a long day of exploring.

Ernesta and Irwin were the best, they were kind and thoughtful and even brought us to a neighborhood party which was an amazing experience. The food for dinner and breakfast was some of the best we’ve had in Flores, and the room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here and felt like we were a part of the family. We were sad to leave.

We stayed at Paradise Garage Komodo Villa for one night on August 20, 2023, right after my wedding in Bali. I was traveling with the groomsmen and bridesmaids who flew from Korea, all over Europe and the U.S. to Bali to be a part of our special day. We were picked up ON TIME by our host, Sari, with the biggest smile on her face (thank you for offering to pick us up, Mbak Sari! We appreciate you!). She graciously arranged two vans for us - one for the luggages and one for passengers. The villa was very close, less than 10 minutes away. Once we opened our front door, OH MY GOD the uninterrupted view of the Labuan Bajo port with a bonus of orange yolk-like sunset greeted all of us. Literally, all that we could say was, "OH MY GOD THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL". After a few minutes of pictures and little moments trying to soak in the beauty of this place, we were briefed about our breakfast choices for the next day. It was a wonderful selection of Indonesian or western breakfast, with fully-stocked fridge and coffee machine (the fruit basket was a lovely addition). Each room had its own bathroom, with large, comfy bed. Every corner of this villa, including the pool, exceeded our expectations and I honestly don't think the pictures online do the real place justice because it is 100x more beautiful in real life. We had a security guard which made us feel safe and following the check-in, Sari helped us arrange a different driver for our dinner at a restaurant nearby. She also gave us a little gift for our "honeymoon" and we cannot thank her enough for her hospitality. Everything was perfect and I really want to keep this place all to myself but of course I decided to take some time to write this very long review filled with nothing but praises because this place deserves it. Will definitely come back again!
