Beautiful property right on the beach. Comfortable rooms. Host family was very friendly and helped us organize boat tours and taxi rides. Very relaxing stay. Home cooked meals were delicious.

Enrique and Angelica were so lovely and attentive. We were met just outside of Puno and driven over to Islas Chimu by Enrique on his boat. We sat on a lovely little porch, on handcrafted deck chairs, overlooking the lake and Enrique told us all about the local area, the wildlife and Lake Titicaca. We were served a delicious dinner of chicken, quinoa, vegetables and chips in a very cute dinning cabin. Enrique had so much time for us and we felt so welcome on their little island. They've obviously been working very hard to build more accommodation and add lots of lovely decor to the island. I think ours was the only room available at the time of our visit but there are now multiple options of places to stay. We would highly recommend visiting Enrique and Angelica on their beautiful little floating island.

Neilo and his family were absolutely wonderful! So kind and thoughtful! I loved being able to talk with them and their three hijos :) Neilo showed me around the islands and his beautiful wife taught me how to crochet motifs ❤️ Breakfast was amazing and dinner was delicious. They prepped the food for travellers. I was so grateful to eat fresh fruit and vegetables! So very quiet and peaceful. I loved watching the ducks and other birds and their antics. I arrived in the dark and pulling up to the island in front of my warmly lit room was magical! The bed was the most comfortable, far more than my own great bed.

The host Ruben and his wife Anna are absolutely incredible and so welcoming. They went above and beyond for us to discover their islands and their community. They are so kind and attentive, we spend only 24 hours with them but this was definitely the highlight of our trip in Peru. We hope one day to come back and spend more time with this amazing family and community.

Amazing stay at La Casa de Ana! Highly recommended if you decide to stay in Uros. Ruben and Ana let us feel like at home. The place looks exactly as per the pictures. Quietness in front of the lake and large room for both of us with amazing view. Waking up overlooking the lake felt like a dream. Ruben picked us up from Puno port, organized the tour to Taquile and gave a lot of info and tips touring us around Uros. Like a perfect “anfitrion”. Breakfast was great and Ana cooked for us a very tasty dinner!

Welcoming and helpful owners. They were available before our arrival in Llachon to answer questions, met us in the plaza to help with luggage, cooked breakfast to order every morning and shared their culture and traditions. Don Primo has been hosting visitors for 20 years. Hector was always available. The casita was beautifully designed. The view of the lake from both inside and outside on the private deck was fantastic. A truly unique experience.

We loved staying at Omar and his family's house on Titikaka. He and his family are very warm and welcoming people! The room is cosy and warm. The bathroom had warm water enough for our big family. The breakfast was delicious and there was the possibility to get also dinner! Not to mention their sweet daughter Raya! We recommend staying at Uros Mayakiwa from all our hearts!
