My stay at Salao Villas was truly exceptional and unlike anything else in the area. The open-plan architecture, surrounded by lush greenery, immediately creates a sense of calm, privacy, and seamless indoor–outdoor living. The private pool was a highlight, offering a perfect mix of sun and shade during the day and stargazing at night. The waterproof poolside bed was extremely comfortable, and the pool itself was refreshing and well designed—ideal for relaxing rather than lap swimming. Attention to detail throughout the villa was impressive. The sunken living room and its smooth connection to the kitchen made the open layout feel intentional and inviting, with a natural flow that made it easy to relax. The bedroom far exceeded expectations, featuring a spacious layout, a very comfortable California king bed with plenty of pillows, and balcony doors that opened directly to the private pool. The open ceiling design added a light, resort-style atmosphere. The bathroom was equally well thought out, with dual sinks and an open-air shower with excellent water pressure and temperature control. Thoughtful amenities elevated the stay, including a stocked refrigerator, easy food ordering, and breakfast arranged through the concierge. The Marshall Bluetooth speaker, Smart TV with free Netflix (and the option to add other apps), and consistently fast, reliable Wi-Fi were all great additions. Despite occasional island power outages, the villas’ powerful generators ensured uninterrupted electricity at all times. The location is ideal—just minutes from Lio Beach with its scenic views and excellent dining options, and only about three kilometers from the town center. Transportation is easy and readily available.

Very calm place to be in. Clean cr. Clean beach , view, and room location very natural. Staff vary helpful, offer help any time we need, we got fresh coconut juice, resturant nearby have yummy food . This place was far better than we expected. The pictures look great, but it was even better in person. The facilities were amazing. Like being at a palace. -The food was great. -The people and host were friendly. -The grounds were kept impeccably neat and tidy. -We loved walking around the facility in the morning. The flora and fauna were beautiful. -The tiling was gorgeous. -The bathroom felt luxurious and has two showers/two sinks. -Good location, easy to get around Puerto Princesa when you have a car. You definitely want to use a car from here. -Stainless steel electric kettle. -Large room

Location and the 2 bedrooms are nice.

The staff were completely friendly and always helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us, even with some non-ordinary requests. They were always in touch and responded very fast to any questions or needs, which made our stay even more comfortable. The place also had its own restaurant with a wide selection of food and drinks, so despite being in a more secluded location, we never felt like we were missing anything.

We know El Nido is expensive, but since our villa had everything from a kitchen to laundry, we saved a lot of money by cooking our own food. The space was big, and the AC could cool the whole house. Ate Kristina and her sister were very accommodating. They helped us book our tour and arrange our transpo to the ferry to coron.

Where do I even begin?! The staff at Zhaya's are so friendly and accommodating. Always greeted with a warm smile and helpful with any request made. You could really see the passion Kyle, the bartender, had for making drinks to each persons liking. The mudslide he made me was a perfect balance of desert, booze and heaven😇 The basil and mint mojito was refreshing and on point as well after our longer journey here from PP. And the food! Oh my😍 Every thing we ate was delicious!! No joke. The included breakfast was simple and had 4-5 options to choose from. The coffee was instant coffee packets but I do think they can make espresso coffees. My bf and I booked the sea view bungalow and we felt it suited our needs perfectly. We had our own bathroom and ac in the room which was refreshing after a day in the sun. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido center but with that said, keep in mind getting here takes about 45 min from El Nido. We had asked our van driver from PP to drop us off and we paid 1500p. I think an arranged tuktuk with Zhaya's is the same price. This place is a great escape and we would definitely return!
