The details (we stayed in second floor unit 5B): a cooler and a tote bag for the beach was provided in the unit; each unit was assigned a beach umbrella, lounge chairs, table; bug repellent was provided in the unit which was handy for evenings on the balcony (we at least had open railings - the Manoah next door had solid glass railings on the balconies and I could only imaging how many mosquitoes they trapped in there and how uncomfortable they'd be without the benefit of a breeze on their legs); bedside throw rugs to wipe any last sand off; foot stool for shorter people; black makeup towels; store room with free floats, sand pails, etc to use; beer and wine for purchase from the office; water buckets at entry door to rinse sand off feet; a book exchange; well equipped kitchen with quiet-close doors, kettle, measuring spoons, knives (and sharpener!); in-room safe; fitness center that had working equipment and although small was well equipped; WiFi on the beach; the list goes on!
We did not rent a car for a couple of days (we had the taxi driver from the ferry stop at a store on the way so we could do shopping fro a few essentials), but we did rent one for the rest of the stay as - it was necessary to get to other areas of the island: there is no public transportation and taxis cost just as much if not more sometimes, than a $40 per day rental car (that does not include the $20 or more (depends on number of days) one-time fee for a drivers license you must purchase).
