Just a short walk to town. Very doable. Lovely hosts and very helpful. This was a perfect place for a week or longer. Clean and comfy with everything you need.

Everything was as hoped. Great location, comfortable setting, roomy, it really was as much as you could really ask to have with grocery, deli just steps away. A continuous view of the harbor on each level, convenient parking, one block from jetty, bars and restaurants minutes away by foot. Kitchen is well furnished, roomy bath and living space. All at reasonable price.

My stay at Southernwind - Spareroom was comfortable, affordable, and at a great location in Stanley.
Gonzalo and his family were extremely accommodating helpful and polite. The meals that they prepared and shared with me were always delicious.
The accommodations are functional, practical and modest. More than enough for me as one person.
If you're considering a trip, and need help planning an itinerary, Gonzalo is very knowledgeable and helpful with that.
I would recommend Southernwind - Spareroom to any Falkland Island tourist, especially ones who need help planning an itinerary.
