"Beirut is a fascinating city with a mixture of cultures, religions, food, and architectural styles. I felt very safe everywhere I walked in the city. Traffic is daunting (traffic rules are not followed) and I would not recommend driving. The economic situation in the country is unfortunately not good and things like electricity and infrastructure are in severe need of repair and updating. Be sure to take cash with you for your entire stay, you cannot take money out from an atm/bank (almost all places accept US dollars and many accept euros). Be careful when using your credit card, as some places tack on high fees and there is both an official and unofficial exchange rate (it is okay to use a credit card at most hotels, expensive restaurants, and some of the more expensive stores; always ask before using your credit card). The people of Beirut are very friendly and hospitable and there is so much to see. Be patient and open to new experiences and Beirut will certainly not disappoint!"
"The best thing about this vibrant city was the wide variety of activities and entertainment visitors could enjoy — from paragliding and scuba diving, to delicious fine dining, lively nightlife and clubs, the casino with its fascinating programs, and the outstanding hotels.
My favorite places were Portofino, Café du Port, Le Provincial, and Ani Nasr Coffee Trail.
At night, the old souk is closed to cars and transformed into a bustling pedestrian promenade filled with cozy sidewalk cafés and vibrant atmosphere.
Notre Dame de Harissa is only a 10-minute drive up the mountain, overlooking the stunning Bay of Jounieh..
I love this magical city that seems like Rio de Janeiro but at smaller scale...n cosier..."

"A wonderful historic town with everything within walking distance. A lot of very good restaurants and absolutely everyone was friendly and welcoming. Some great beach restaurants on both main beaches, one very rocky and one beautifully sandy."
Blessed with idyllic beaches and mountainous landscapes, Lebanon is one of the few countries which caters for both swimmers and skiers. Bustling Beirut is the place to be. A fast-paced city, filled with intriguing museums, vibrant nightlife and unique districts makes it a perfect base for a trip to Lebanon. As the country is relatively small, it’s easy to explore highlights outside the capital. Just over 80km east of Beirut is the Beqaa Valley, home to archaeological gems such as the temples of Bacchus and Jupiter. This region is also renowned for its wines such as Château Kefraya, and tasting tours can be organised at numerous vineyards. Lebanon has lots of hotels to suit a range of budgets. Hostels and self-catering apartments are also available throughout.

Very professional and friendly service what makes the atmosphere of the vacation very nice and pleasant .
The hotel’s location is perfect: right next to the old bazaar, citadel and all the sightseeings and at the same time it’s beachfront with a beautiful view and perfect beach. Our room was upgraded to a sea view, and the view from it was amazing 😍
Highly recommend
