The rooms had a nice modern feel. Some rooms had a view of the castle. It was a nice quiet location. If you are fit and can walk up hills then the location is nice.

Very nice place in the heart of Bad Harzburg. We had a lovely room overloooking the Bummelallee and the creek. The room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was delightful with good selection and eggs cooked to order. Staff were very nice. I would definitely stay again.

Exceptionally clean apartment with everything was working properly and very helpful hotel personnel. Hotel is located a little bit away from the center but it gives an advantage because it’s very quiet. Old Town is quite small so it’s may be 10 minutes walk to the center no more. Parking was easy. I really have enjoyed staying in this apartment. Thank you

This was an exceptional experience. The Alte Muenze was the perfect location, the breakfast was good but the room was superb. We requested this particular room but they could not guarantee. We received the room and we were very happy. As we were checking in late, they gave us perfect instructions on how to receive the keys to our room, the parking area etc. Super helpful and friendly staff. A very idyllic and historic hotel - just positively different.

Little hotel, not the fancy place, but so full of small little details that make you smile, from the amazing staff and attention to how breakfast and dinner are served. Comfy clean rooms, amazing lake views and delicious food. - The breakfast: small variety but tasting great, served in a great way and with a lot of attention from the staff - The young team of staff during afternoon-evening shift: Super nice, attentive and friendly. you are amazing, thanks a lot! - The restaurant chef during dinner is a master and the food was great. - The Fireplace-common room is a gem! With all sorts of drinks and amazing atmosphere it was a haven! We were there during spring but I believe in cold winters with a lot of snow it should be magical as well.
