Gentarrubia is a beautifully designed, charming place. We did not get to fully appreciate it during our 1-night stay in January, but the garden and pool area looks beautiful too. The room was perfectly adequate, clean, quiet and comfortable. However, the cherry on top was the welcome: "officially" we would have missed breakfast, because we had to leave too early to the airport. In the evening, our host kindly offered to prepare a few quick bites for us, a very nice gesture. However, early next morning we found that she had prepared a full and very delicious breakfast for us. We appreciated it very much, this is really hospitality at its very best.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel. Slept wonderfully. Woke to a classy breakfast. They served the tastiest croissants and offered eggs to order on top of a nice buffet spread. Oh and the showers was ahhh…after a long day of travel you know how great this can be. The hotel manager was incredibly responsive.

Sa Domu is a small, charming guesthouse with a family-run atmosphere and a central location in Cagliari, just a 5-minute walk from the harbor and train station.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It has a truly authentic, island-style atmosphere, which makes it feel very special and unique. The inner courtyard is beautiful and well maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing environment. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming, and you can clearly see that this is a family-run business where a lot of heart and care has been invested over the years to continuously improve the place. Breakfast was delicious and traditional, featuring fresh homemade-style pastries as well as savory options such as eggs, sandwiches, juice, and very good coffee. The whole place is very quiet and calm, perfect for a relaxing stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean and well maintained. One small note for future guests: not all rooms have a terrace or balcony. In our case, the room did not have either, although we initially expected a terrace based on the photos. It might be worth double-checking room details before booking if a balcony or terrace is important for your stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and charming place to stay.
