Manakau Lodge is situated beautifully between the ocean and the mountains. Janice was a wonderful and gracious host, helping me with dinner recommendations and reservations, offering to drive us there, showing us walking trails nearby and providing us with fresh eggs for breakfast. The lodge is just perfect. Clean, beautiful, and had all the perfect “touches”. The sunrise that morning was incredible.

Just 3 minutes' drive from the center of Kaikoura, Kaikoura Quality Suites offers views of the Kaikoura Ranges and modern bathrooms with underfloor heating. Free WiFi and free parking are included.

The couple that own this hotel are extremely nice! The room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. The room was very clean and efficiently organized.
