The location is excellent, providing guests with quick, walkable, access to central Angers, as well as to the Metro for farther journeys. The rooms and property itself were very clean and well thought out. The beds were large and very comfortable; and the entire hotel, including the rooms, were very clean. We also appreciated the daily access to coffee, tea, and water provided by a small "bistro" station in the hallways of each floor. Definitely a nice touch. Blvd Foch is quite a large and busy street, but the hotel rooms are "double-windowed," which makes the outside street virtually inaudible when inside the room. This is a great touch because such windows are very expensive.

Set in an elegant townhouse dating back to the 18th century, Hôtel Le Gentleman is located in La Flèche and offers a large garden, a terrace and a bar.

The farmhouse is a bit out of town. Go to the end of the dirt road and you will see it. Our room was on the top floor has been completely redone, and it was huge and beautiful! The young owners are so nice. They even made a dinner reservation for us at Cote Cour, in the nearest larger town Azay-Le-Rideau, about 15 minute drive. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful and peaceful setting in the French countryside! The rooms include a large living room area too! The breakfast was really nice and the property is lovely. We had vehicle troubles on a road trip and were fortunate to be stranded there, we were happy to extend an extra night.

The host was warm and hospitable although we did not speak French. She brought us breakfast in a basket the next morning and it was lovely, plentiful and good. Had plenty of coffee, croissants, yogurt.
