The Majestic Hotel has always been my favorite place to stay in Melaka. It’s tucked away from the chaos of Jonker Street, yet still close enough to reach on foot. You can take a scenic walk along the river or wander through the town—both routes are equally enjoyable. The rooms are consistently clean and beautifully maintained. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are incredibly helpful, polite, and well-informed about the city and all it has to offer. The only thing I’d like to point out to the management is the bed—it looks plush and inviting, but unfortunately, it’s not as comfortable as it appears! A little upgrade in that area would make the stay absolutely perfect.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's one of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in on my 3 month trip, also very comfortable. Good location, very peaceful, yet still only about a 20 minute walk from all main points of interest. There are many good restaurants and cafes nearby. I would stay again and highly recommend it.
