Antonio, the owner and his family, did everything they could for making our stay a pleasent one. Everything in the place he built - a very talanted man. The breakfast was great. We even had the oppertunity having Antonio playing his unique kind of guitar with a song he wrote and composed. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Found this place somewhat randomly and spent 3 night in their basic rooms, with the deck. The architecture, interior design, food, and most importantly service were impeccable and very high value for the money we spent. Especially the staff.. they went above an beyond to make sure you felt welcome and pampered. Great location if you want to spend a bit of time away and up in the mountains (hills) of Portugal. Highly recommended. p.s. We did make a stop for dinner at the higher rated (5 star) hotel owned by the same group. This location compared to that felt nicer. Both the interior design and people felt a lot warmer here.

Great, calm and silent location, beautifully designed, friendly and helpful staff, full of comodities, comfy and spacious bed, room and bathroom, excellent buffet breakfast, pristine cleaning and top quality furniture and decoration. I can't find any relevant drawback.
