This place is a gem in Paraty. The owners take such pride that it is noticed in every detail in the room and in the common areas. The rooms are very spacious and provide space for suitcases and the shower is fantastic. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The AC is silent :-) And we loved being a couples blocks from the historical center and stores.

Romantic and charming historic hotel in old town Paraty. Decorated with attention to detail. We came as part of our honeymoon and loved the special card and chocolates given to us. We loved our stay and will most certainly come back. Obrigada do coração!!!

We truly felt at home during our stay. Betty is a wonderful host—warm, attentive, and welcoming—and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Free parking on the property was a great bonus, and the location couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend!

The property was beautiful, extremely well maintained, and in an excellent location within the historic district. The staff is warm, welcoming, well trained and pay attention to every little detail. They go out of the way to accommodate the guests all the time. We had someone with us who was lactose intolerant and they baked her special things so that she didn't miss out on anything. The breakfast was delicious and it was served at anytime based on guests' requests. The daily tea was a great way to end the afternoons. We would return to Casa Turquesa in a heart beat.
