Staying at Adelante hotel was really lovely. The room was so comfy with carefully thought out details that were really appreciated like... a personalized welcome note, refillable water container, hooks near the entry door for your jacket, handbag, etc., mud tray for your shoes, an umbrella, wonderfully stocked refrigerator, bluetooth radio/speaker, complimentary makeup removal pads and q-tips, a full length mirror in the bedroom along with a magnified mirror (portable and stationary) along with several hooks in the bathroom. The mattress and pillows were also comfortable. Our room had a small lounge area with chairs and a footrest that were very cosy. The hotel was also in a great location! Easy access to public transportation with a nice selection of local cafes and neighborhood restaurants that seem to cater more towards people who lived in the area rather than to tourists. We didn't have breakfast so I can't speak to the quality of the food nor did we take advantage of the gym.

Come and stay in your home away from home in BERLIN! We are a chill and social hostel. We keep it like family here. We do activities and love to connect with other travelers.

I arrived in Berlin without having had time to book a place to stay, and I realized it was right in the middle of peak season, so I couldn’t find decent accommodations at a reasonable price—only fancy hotels charging 1,500–2,000 euros per night. So I had to look for alternatives. Airbnb wasn’t an option—you might have the same bad luck I did, where they freeze the money on your card and then tell you that, unfortunately, the host didn’t respond, and you’ll get a full refund after a few business days. Obviously, during that time, you won’t be able to use the money you set aside for accommodation anywhere else. Thanks to the good reviews, I ended up at East Seven Berlin for a more than reasonable price, staying in a 4-bed room. Although at first, as a tourist over 55, I was hesitant about whether I’d be able to get some rest in a hostel full of young people between 18 and 25, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my roommates were considerate, tiptoeing around to ensure everyone else’s peace and quiet. The staff at the front desk was more polite and helpful than is often the case at 2- or 3-star hotels. Cleanliness, good Wi-Fi, good location. I can give it a 10+ rating.
