Our plan to stay on the outskirts of Madrid worked wonderfully and the Metro got us into town within a half hour. We got away to Zaragoza very easily.

The location is convenient, with shops and the metro about a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is very spacious and modern, especially compared to other accommodations in the same price range. The host also provided clean towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and basic cleaning products, which was very helpful.
