Everything was fantastic. The place was clean, very well maintained, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and well maintained. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment. We especially loved the hammock and the net on the second floor, which offered a spectacular view of Mount Agung and the surrounding rice fields. Even though it’s an open space concept, the bedroom has bamboo walls and windows that keep insects out. We also met the owner in the morning who was a very kind and friendly person.

We booked this place to be as close as possible to Mount Agung for a climb the next morning. Was very comfortable and we got a great nights sleep for our early hike the next morning. The hotel was also nice enough to allow us a marginally late checkout as they have the flexibility so we could clean up after our outing.

Very unique architecture which made our stay there fun.

This place is amazing and looks exactly like the photos. The staff was so attentive and booked anything we messaged her for very quickly including breakfast requests and massages in the room and transportation. Our host was very accommodating and also provided a place for us to have dinner delivered to our tree house. The view is like something you would see in only pictures which is truly beautiful.

The bamboo Cavan is impressive and so so beautiful. So relaxing, you cannot regret such experience!

Amazing location, amazing view, amazing pool, amazing food. Amazing experience. Everyting was amazing. We came from Ubud, and the host offer to give us a driver, with extracost. We decided to take a grab from ubud, but the road is very tight, and the grab driver wasnt very happy. In the end, the driver that Jiva had offered us would have been cheaper than the one we booked on Grab. We stayed only one night, but for a full experience we recomand you to book at least 2 nights. When we left, we book their driver, Wayan was an excelent driver and guide for us. We negociate with them that on the way back to Ubud to make 2 stops to vizit 2 temples. Wayan was the best driver we had in Ubud. He also helped us to book a driver at the ending of our vacation, from Uluwatu to the airport at a very good price

Everything! From the warm greetings, to the peaceful surroundings, the beautiful villa, to the amazing breakfast. Our host, Candra was absolutely amazing! She took care of all our needs and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Candra prepares the most wonderful, fresh breakfast every morning. You get to wake up to the sounds of the surrounding nature, the rice fields, and amazing views with Mt. Gunung Agung in the background. The beds were very comfortable and the entire villa was clean and exactly as described and seen in the pictures. There are so many great places near by, like Sidemen, Gembling waterfall, Koli Koli day club and restaurant, Satria coffee plantation, that are a short 20-40 min drive or scooter ride away. You will not regret booking this villa in Selat. A 10/10 would recommend!

BEAUTIFUL Bali jungle retreat experience! Very private accommodation with exceptional service upon request, otherwise enjoy your privacy and solitude with spectacular views of Mt. Agung and the rice fields below. We spent a great deal of time choosing our Bali “jungle” experience and it was everything we wanted and expected including coexisting with the surrounding environment. Agus and Team were genuinely mindful of our comfort, pleasure, and privacy.

Excellent all round...enjoyed my experience, staff location management superb. If you don't like bugs spiders and wild life then shigar livin is not for you.

Such a dreamy place , i have never seen this kind of villa ( clean,tidy, dreamy, quite place) over all everything was perfect and the hosts were really kind hearted. highly recommended for everyone

Beautiful villa made fully of bamboo, even the hangers. Very friendly, polite and attentive staff, we felt very pampered. Was great to disconnect far away from the city noise.

The property is tucked back along the river. Beautiful villas with a pool. Restaurant is at reception building and very good. Can walk to trekking and yellow bridge eating, silver jewelry classes and the Canting Kuning Spa (traditional spa). I liked having a fully functional indoor bathroom (no bug issues). I think only the villa that is most distant from the restaurant has indoor bathrooms though.

Loved this new place and will definitely return. The family are very welcoming and conscientious. Room spotless, great shower and comfy bed. We enjoyed sitting in the spacious outdoor area and just looking at the amazing view, so peaceful! Also good to have your own kitchen for sure! The restaurant was a highlight and worth a visit even if you're not staying overnight - we had breakfast and lunch.

Blue Paradise (if you look for Aby you'll never find it) was a comfortable stay. The space is very large. Most comfortable bed I slept in in Bali. Loved the balcony where I could watch Sideman move past or listen to the live music in the restaurants nearby. It was an easy walk to the rice fields, yellow bridge or restaurants. Great reception on the TV. Hot shower. Strong air conditioner. Nice area to make tea or cook. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful. Plentiful, tasty breakfast.

Spacious and clean room, great location to walk around, beautiful view, and nice service

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kankhara Villa Sidemen and have nothing to complain about. The villa is very cozy, with a private pool and a spacious bathroom that includes a bathtub with a wonderful view. The staff were exceptional—incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. One delightful touch was their towel art: every time the room was cleaned, we were greeted with a new and beautifully arranged towel creation. The environment is safe, clean, and peaceful. The price is excellent for the level of comfort and quality offered. The food was also very good, with a nice variety ranging from traditional dishes to Western options. Kankhara also offers various activities; we tried the cooking class and massage, and both were excellent.

The location is peaceful and quiet, with a great restaurant right next door. The staff were always friendly, smiling, and available to help throughout the day. They offered to help us find a place to rent a scooter and do our laundry. Our room was cleaned daily, and a delicious breakfast was included in the very reasonable price. The room was spacious and spotless, with hot water in the shower and a smart TV. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!
