Very nice traditional Japanese house. You get your own private room and share common areas with others. The house is quiet and peaceful overall. Yano is very accommodating and welcoming! He is very friendly and knows the area very well, even introduced great spots around and helped us plan our trip. Totally recommend if you want to experience the countryside in Japan. We did not rent a car and I suggest renting a car because trains and buses are rare in the area. There are taxi cabs you can book via taxi Go app but for better convenience I think a rental car is better. Have fun!

Such a unique guest house! The historic parts of the house add to the charm. The bed and provided blankets were comfortable and warm on a chilly night. A wonderful place to stay for any henro or visitor

it is a newly renovated old house, well-maintained , clean and adequately equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is good with a few good restaurants all within walking distance

The apartment is fully equipped and well organized. I am really surprised that more than sufficient items are prepared, including the kitchen equipment and cleaning materials. The room is spotless clean. I have a very comfortable stay there.

The kotatsu! It was very spacious, the futons were very comfortable and we enjoyed the tatami and traditional vibe of the location. The projector was also a nice amenity.
