Small, few rooms hotel. Had tatami floor in the room. Room was very clean, had nice view to the river. Reception was wonderful, spoke very good english and was helpful all the way around! Had a nice private onsen with view to nice small garden for extra charge.

Room is clean and spacious. Bathroom in the room is well equipped and decorated. The public outdoor hot spring was so nice and relaxing. And there’s also a free private indoor hot spring that was very nice too. And I really like that the hot springs are 24/7. Meals were so good and all the staffs were so friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere and the layoutbof the building is intriguing. The onsen is beautiful and satisfying. Nice meals as well. Also the staff is very welcoming.

Great place to just being on your own, enjoy the nature and the surrounding towns. I really liked going to Gero for a day. If you have a car is definitely better otherwise the very kind owner will try to help if you want to go visit some near places

This place was exceptional. The owners were the kindest people we have met in Japan so far. Staying in their property was great to experience a traditional Japanese style house. Their hospitality was truly something I haven't experienced before.
