So clean and so close to everything Definitely my favorite stay, I didn’t want to leave port Barron. So close to the best beach and just so much fun No noise at night Lady Gaga and her husband are just so amazing. Definitely go on the boat trip they arrange, we did it 2 days in a row because we loved it so much Don’t hesitate just book!!!

One of the nicest places on Port Barton beach - located on one end so it is quieter. We called Port Barton a dive bar beach - perfect size, small quaint, character everywhere but large enough for good restaurants and bars. Clean and chic hotel with beautiful pool and sitting area overlooking the beach.

This resort was exactly what we wanted. At the beginning of our trip we decided to stay for a few nights to break up the drive between puerto princesa and el Nido. We loved it so much that we decided to stay for a couple nights in our way back to puerto princesa. Mike and his family were incredible, and his staff were amazing. We love the rustic feel. The location right on the beach - with so many other bars/restaurants is a fantastic bonus. 100% will be back!

This was a fantastic stay !!! Couldn't have had it any better. We stayed there for 5 nights. It is in a quiet location only a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the main town area. The hut was super clean. Free water and coffee at any time you wish. Mike, who is the owner gave us an informative talk beforehand and it was super helpful. He booked us bus trips, a boat tour and also had a motorbike for rent. Mike is awesome! Ask him anything and he will accomodate you. Definitely will be going back again !!!

All the staff were amazing, they made an extra mile and shown a true Philipinno hospitality ;) Their restaurant had the best food in whole Port Barton, and their tours were very very good. Superb value for the money.

It is very near the beach. Clean surroundings. Lady/Ate Ghagha helped me book tours, airport transfer, and bike rental. You see that she takes guest reviews and suggestions seriously as she continually upgrades their amenities. My concern with my room was attended to immediately. It's worth mentioning that she is accommodating with local tourists as well as with foreigners. Appreciate the free banana, bread, and coffee in the morning.

The location was divine, but it was the staff that really made my stay!! They were so cheerful and kind and helpful. I always felt right at home.

Great location, so close to the beach. Lovely pool, which is a game changer during the day if you don’t want to travel to coconut or white beach. Breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean with powerful AC. Staff super friendly and helped us with booking our transfer to El Nido.

The cottage was lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location is excellent—close to all the lovely restaurants and attractions in town, yet tucked away enough to enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with great hospitality in Port Barton, I would highly recommend Maison Payapa. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

The hotel is as described, in he middle of the 'jungle'. Quite rustic, rooms are beautiful and the views are incredible. Staff was welcoming and nice. Restaurant was pleasant, simple tasty food. They had installed a solar power panel before our arrival, so we had electricity the whole time, which was great as it was very hot and having a fan on the whole night was helpful.

Excellent customer service by the owner! Easy to communicate with and he connected us with tours. Place is near the bus terminal. Clean, spacious room. Great experience overall.

The breakfast was delicious (although not included in price, very reasonable cost), the room AC was excellent, very sweet room, and the grounds peaceful. Fantastic value and experience for the cost.

I highly recommend La Lola in Port Barton. It has easy access to everything—just a 2-minute walk to the beach. It's located in the town, but the place is very quiet. I'm so happy I chose this hotel for me and my cousin. Aside from that, it's very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I really loved this place, and the owner, Ate (I forgot her name), is very nice and accommodating. She even booked a van for us to the airport. I would definitely love to come back here again.

Myself and my wife Kristen have been travelling South East Asia for almost 3 months. Mariejoy haven was by far our favourite stay. Having seen conflicting reviews on the platform prior to the stay we were relatively apprehensive about what our experience would be like. However, what we experienced was unlike anything we have EVER experienced. The family feel of the resort is second to none, the staff truly can’t do enough for you. The resort is tranquil, quiet, and you are very much at one with nature during your stay. Anyone that doesn’t appreciate Mariejoy is quite simply just single/ narrow-minded. It is a fabulous cultural experience. The food was sensational, the hospitality amazing and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We adored our cabin on the beach front. We spent a lot of time with the family and the dogs that inhabit the resort who are super friendly. We built a great relationship with the two kids living on the resort - Marco and Istoy. They were so welcoming and we loved their company during our stay. We will for certain return with our family in the future. Mariejoy - don’t change, amazing stay.
