The view was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly. Parking was easy! The room was very comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good.

Location was both horrible and wonderful. Horrible to go up the hill, but rewarding with an amazing view to the ocean. Biggest ocean view I have ever seen. There is an additional route to the place through Rua dad Florencas, it's a bit of a detour but skips the crazy uphill.

We didn't know that this place is no hustle or shared house. You get to be the guest of a lovely couple which make you feel at home, giving perfect tips for visiting places and car rental. Still the most pleasant surprise for us was "Lulu" the cuddly kitten 😍 we kept our door open at night so he can cuddle with us! ☺️ The room and bathroom area is separated from their living area and private.

Cannot recommend House Nobrega highly enough. The accommodation itself was lovely, but it was the extras that put it over the top. Other than the weekend, they cleaned everyday (like a hotel), provided a small snack, gave us wine, and really made us feel welcome. The pool was gorgeous but too cold for us to use. Parking, as has been mentioned, was tricky but doable after a few tries. The location is so quiet and perfect for hikes. Overall such a fantastic, welcoming place to stay.

Very spacious apartment, tidy, clean. In the kitchen there are all the necessary utensils. Miguel is easy to work with, always available, very responsive. The apartment is also suitable for larger families and we were very satisfied. I highly recommend.

Very convenient location, provided you have a rental car. There is a lot of space inside and also in the patio and you have everything you might need for the stay, including lots of toiletries, cutlery, a Nescafe coffee machine, lines to hang your clothes to dry. Never met the owner but communication through Booking was very smooth. Great value for the money!

Location is superb, the island is small but this location can have you pretty much anywhere within an hour. Shared pool and nice new clean two storey holiday homes with their own private terraces.

The view is great, the pool is also good. The location is good if you have a car. Bedrooms are also good. Gerry was great.

The communication with the host was excellent — very responsive, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. When we arrived, there were thoughtful welcome gifts waiting for us (water, juice, chocolates…), which was a lovely touch after a long journey. The house itself was beautiful, spotless and incredibly well-equipped. Everything worked perfectly — from the pool and garage to the three bathrooms, washing machine & dryer, and kitchen appliances. There was plenty of space to store our things, and the beds were super comfortable. We just bought groceries and didn’t miss a thing — cooking, laundry, everything was easy and convenient. The view from the villa is beautiful, and we especially enjoyed relaxing outside on the poolside furniture, which was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. An unexpected bonus: there were even weights and workout equipment, so you could stay active without leaving the house! Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring Madeira. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was ASTOUNDING. Great people and service.

Was in a beautiful area with amazing views. The hotel was clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Was initially disappointed there was no AC in the room but realized you didn’t need it - just kept the balcony door open and the breeze was adequate. Food was good, desserts were great.
