It's a really comfy apartment with a nice living room, a huge TV, a coffee machine, and everything you need. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. It's a shame we only stayed one night, but it was an 'emergency stay' because our flight from Madeira was canceled. We managed to book it for one night with very short notice. What's more, the hosts helped us a lot when we had trouble ordering a taxi for an early morning trip to the airport; they even offered to drive us if we couldn't find one.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, super complete in all amenities. The host gives instant replies on questions and inquiries. We had a great stay! Close to a few exciting trails, a little further away from the coastal towns, but we prefer that over the business. Really a place to relax from everyday life and after a full day of hiking. Great shower, big bath in the 2nd bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds (one hard, one softer, so pick you liking, only a little on the small side for such a big house and bedrooms)

The house is located away from main roads in a quite neighborhood. The view from balconies and patio is gorges. I wish we could spend more time on the balcony watching beautiful sunsets; unfortunately during our stay most of the evenings were rainy and cold. The house has secured on-property parking sufficient for two mid-sized cars. That is one of the best traits of this property. Some reviews mentioned a steep ramp from the gate to the house but we did not have any problem driving up and down the ramp. One just need to careful as everywhere on hilly streets of the island. Celina is a fantastic host. She gave us good recommendations regarding places to visit and eat. We tried out almost all restaurants that she recommended and they all were excellent and filled with locals, the best indication that served food was really authentic Portuguese.
