We loved the beautiful, peaceful location which overlooks the mountains. The environment was relaxing. The hosts were very friendly. They put a lot of effort in making the guests feel welcomed and at home. The breakfast in the morning was a feast for for a king! Everything was perfect. We would definitely return again.

It was a bit expensive, 2000 a night, but the facilities were great and very clean, all brand new.

I had a wonderful stay at Komorebi! Rooms are beautiful and clean, the most convenient location, and host Mr. Martin was so welcoming and friendly. It felt like the perfect home base for my short stay in Chiayi. Perfect for any solo female traveler! 1000/10

It's about a ten minute walk from the train station that the Alishan Forest Railway departs from (not the High Speed Rail train station which is like a 40-minute bus ride away). They gave us a free upgrade to a room with two queen size beds when we arrived. It was very clean. Decent beds, good AC, mini-fridge in the room.

Located in Chiayi City and within a 16-minute walk of Chiayi Tower, Lantan Fanyue Inn has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi.
