This is a beautiful home with historic features and modern amenities. My room was huge, and its decore also combined historic and modern. It is bang smack in the middle of Arbois, and around the corner from a lovely bar/cafe. The hotel’s proprietress also is a lovely, thoughtful woman who drove me to dinner when I could not find a cab, and also dropped me at the train station on the last day with my too-heavy luggage.

We loved this space. The location with the old stairs to the room was a memory we won't forget. Getting the keys felt like a treasure hunt, which my family enjoyed. The decor in this suite is next level, and all the tiny details were done so well. The host left lemon cake bites that my daughter fell in love with. My husband and I were able to put our daughter to bed and able to enjoy the seating area upstairs before bed. This space is so spacious and cozy, we just loved it. We only stayed one night, but wished we had booked longer.
