Beautiful, new and stylish. The rooms were very clean and modern and comfortable. Really lovely restaurant for breakfast and a trendy quiet hotel bar. The onsen was also very nice. Great location if you want to stay in Aomori and visit other places in the area.

We liked many aspects at the Dormy Inn Aomori Hotel, like the breakfast with many Japanese food, the larger room with twin beds (compared to the double bed rooms), the very nice Onsen bath, the very kind reception and cleaning staff.

We loved everything about our stay here! The location is very peaceful, the Japanese style room was very prettily decorated and spacious, and the Miyako and her husband were fabulous hosts. They were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very well cared for. Miyako prepared delicious and generous meals for us that were absolutely beautiful. She was also a huge help with arranging luggage transfer for us as we began our planned hike along the Michinoku trail. And she and her husband offered to drive us to and from Hachinohe station at a very reasonable rate, which is a big help and big time saver because Hachinohe is very spread out.

20 miles from Lake Towada in Kuroishi, Tabinoyado Saikawa provides accommodations with access to spa facilities and beauty services.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this cozy and eclectic inn. Get the breakfast it’s soooo amazing! They use local, and traditional ingredients, including blueberries from a family member’s farm. There’s decent coffee too! And Ranko goes above and beyond the usual attentiveness for her visitors. It was clean, nice comfortable traditional rooms, and lovely onsen. My partner and I used the private onsen together; lovely. Well decorated with all kinds of Japanese art and trinkets. The floor beds were sooo comfy too.

It was an absolute joy staying at IRODORI AOMoRI! The location was perfect, about a 10 minute chill walk from Aomori Station. It’s also near the Aomori Gyosai Center so you can head there for meals. There’s also a Family Mart a few blocks away (it’s on the way to/from the Aomori Station). As for amenities, there’s nothing you can ask for—towels, toothbrushes, hair dryer, etc, just about anything that’s given at hotels is available, some even better (there’s nespresso available and tea!). Since you’re renting the whole house, you can even cook there. Pans and plates and even basic spices and condiments are available! I also have to commend the vibe of the place. It’s designed beautifully! You won’t have a hard time relaxing there. It’s a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Lastly, a huge plus for customer service! I had some questions about checking in and they replied very quickly! I also had a concern about luggage storage and they were able to help me out. Thank you!
