The hotel is very tidy, clean, and very quiet. It overlooks a very beautiful beach. The best part is that it's new and makes you feel like you're really in Zanzibar. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. I especially like the hotel manager, Jola, who was wonderful and welcoming. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this comfortable and wonderful place. I would like to thank the hotel owner who offered us free massage sessions, as Ali was friendly and hospitable as well.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at African Bungalows in Nungwi, Zanzibar. This cozy gem exceeded all my expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure guests feel at home. The food is absolutely delicious, every meal was a treat! The hotel is nestled in a beautiful garden that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with a lovely pool. And the hotel is just a one minute walk to the stunning beach. The rooms are clean, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay and the bed was very comfortable, I had the best sleep in a long time. Another standout feature is the generator so you never have to worry about power interruptions. If you’re looking for a perfect spot for relaxation with excellent food and service in Zanzibar, I highly recommend African Bungalows. I’ll definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay. From the pool to the food, everything was amazing. There is a small restaurant on site which serves delicious food at a fair price. The owner and her team went above and beyond with passion and a smile. We visited multiple places across Zanzibar and this was our favorite spot.
