This place is paradise! Absolutely beautiful location, spacious clean comfortable room. Fully equiped kitchen. Linda our hostess was wonderfully helpful, gave us great suggestions for sightseeing and provided everything we needed. Really a fabulous pension. Well worth the price. Cant wait to return. It is absolutely wonderful! The hosts are so friendly, sweet and work hard to ensure our stay is perfect! Room is comfortable and spacious, view from balcony is stunning overlooking the inspiring mountains. So nice to be close to nature and all the animals. Best coffee in Austria by a mile. Tanja and her team at Ferienhof Hinterstrasser were very welcoming especially after there was a booking.com error that deleted our reservation. They solved it all before our arrival. The breakfasts were exceptional! Eggs from the farm's chickens were cooked to order. Fresh milk from the farm's cows as well as homemade yogurt and butter were delicious. Tanja baked gluten-free bread for our friends and tinkered with the recipe each day until it was as good as the non-GF bread. Location was great for exploring hiking trails as well as Lake Mondsee. We arrived on public transportation and easily walked to / from the town center.

The location was stunning with a wonderful view if lake Mondsee. Uschi was a great host and offered us fresh milk and eggs from the farm and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The split level apartment was great with the bedrooms upstairs and living, kitchen and dining downstairs with a balcony overlooking the lake. The apartment was very spacious. It was very quiet and relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
