Very clean and comfortable. Our host was wonderful and went out of his way to make sure we were all set. He spoke no English, but we used translators and did well. His son, who happened to be there, did some translation for us as well. The location is amazing, too. Like stepping back in time. One of our favorite stays in Portugal.. We even stayed an extra night we liked it so much.

We loved everything about it. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was awesome. Everything was clean. The garden is beautiful....the whole facility has an impressive history and has been restored with care and respect to tradiition. Gloria and her husband are lovely hosts.
