Great location, big supermarket in the same building. Rooms are spacious and clean, warm and cozy upon arrival (we didnt book in advance but from hotel lobby).

I stayed at the Berat Castle Hotel for one night with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely incredible — without doubt the best breakfast I had during my entire trip. My family and I agreed it was the most delicious and authentic meal we’ve ever had in a hotel stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the cook did a fantastic job. The hotel has such a traditional charm, and everything from the hospitality to the food to the overall atmosphere felt genuinely special. This was truly a rich family experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Berat Castle Hotel for anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of tradition, great food, and warm hospitality.

Beautiful new hotel, very comfortable.

Everything exceeded expectations, new rooms, new Sweedish beds, bathrooms were modern and immaculate, breakfast was fresh and tasty, whole family enjoyed our stay and breakfast.

The proximity to everything, the fact that it is family friendly, it has parking, and security cameras 24/7. The breakfast was delicious. We recommend this place 100 percent. ❤️

Staying within the castle walls was a dream! Villa Sophie was very clean, comfortable and centrally located. The room was a garden view and offered a spectacular view of the mountain range. It had all the amenities needed, including a refrigerator and air conditioning. Breakfast was a great offering of eggs, fruit, salad, cheese, savory pastry with bread and jam accompanied by juice, water and coffee.

I was really looking forward to my stay here cos of the reviews and photos I had seen. Our stay was marvellous. Our bus from Tirana stopped just few mins away on the main road so we didn't have much problem walking in with our trolley luggages. Staffs were helpful and approachable, providing me with a tea set when I requested. Room was cosy and nicely warm. Everything was clean and wifi was strong. The view from our balcony was superb and it was very peaceful sitting out enjoying the view. Breakfast was delicious with a couple of varieties provided at our preferred time. Just a few mins out from the guesthouse, you will find the stretch of shops and restaurants and a big supermarket. It's a nice walk through the boulevard. The other side of the road brings you to the hills and a great view. For the Muslims, there is a mosque very near the guesthouse. The bus stop which will bring you to the bus terminal is very near to the guesthouse. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Brand new hotel, excellent facilities, excellent service!

Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated with excellent taste. The breakfast was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the location is simply wonderful.

I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed here with my family and I found the room very comfortable. A perfect view of the church and mosque. Very good location, near to restaurants and site attractions. A big thanks to the staff for their professionalism and heartwarming welcome.

This Hotel is very very clean, bedsheets,bathroom all very clean, location is great and the staff and owner are very welcoming people.

Everything was perfect to be honest . For couples and families everything was well organized the rooms were very new and modern. The location was on top of, within 3 minutes walking distance from the city centre and was flat . I highly recommend it !

The location is very good as it is just over the bridge from the centre of town. There is a courtyard for the restaurant and the breakfasts. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the meal was excellent and probably the best meal we had in Albania. The breakfast the next morning was also excellent and extremely generous

The owner of this property has done an exceptional job on restoring it to its former glory. Aleksander and his wife are hands on proud owner. They welcome us every morning to a luscious breakfast on one of Berat’s most picturesque Terrace. Definitely a must stay in Berat!❤️
