Lunch and breakfast was very delicious and with good variety. Room was very spacious and with two bedrooms. Nice and calm location.

There was nothing positive about the hotel itself; however, the nearby ski area was very convenient.

Beautiful, isolated location. Very close to mountain hiking. Comfortable rooms and nice decor inside and out. Lovely green with lounge chairs. Almost all guests were Germans. Very good breakfast and nice restaurant for dinner. I didn’t get to the spa. The sauna opens in the afternoon.

Located in the center of the town of Ilmenau, bordering the Thuringian forest, this hotel is 3 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the A71 motorway.
