The nicest, most accommodating staff. The rooms are spotless, quiet and comfortable. The view is breathtaking and location is convenient to many tourist attractions in the area.

Beautiful spa resort hotel. It felt like a hidden gem. The pride of ownership is so evident. Every part of the hotel has a creative charm to it. The grounds surrounding the pool were immaculate. The food was always a treat.

Breakfast is included and it's absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Although we didn't utilize this service, they provide you with bus passes to get around town in - which is a nice perk! They have a handful of different types of saunas which were super relaxing to go around and rotate in. The pool is clean and great to cool off in after the saunas.

The staff clearly cares a lot about the property and were very helpful. Rooms were big for europe with a large sized comfortable bed. Great place to stay with great views (when the weather works in your favor).

The location was great, out of the hustle and bustle and out your windows you view the green fields with cows grazing and mountains in the distance. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The host family were so sweet and kind and helpful. The kitchen facilities were awesome as well as the bathroom. We loved that there was a washer and dryer available to use. The bed and linens were super comfortable.

We spent a month traveling around Europe and our two hosts here were our favorites, hard working, pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable about how to best spend our two days, even good at predicting the local weather ! A nice quiet location with mountainn views but still near all National Park , you can see Eagles nest from the property.

Breakfast was great. Quality food and easy self service. The hotel is perfectly located along the bus route and walking distance from anything in koningsee. Staff was friendly and spoke English enough to answer all of my questions.

Staying at Haus Lukaswinkl was genuinely one of the highlights of my entire trip, and I mean that wholeheartedly. The location is absolutely perfect. I walked everywhere, the Königssee boat dock, the trails, restaurants, all on foot, no transportation needed whatsoever. Waking up every morning with the Alps right outside the window is something I will not forget. The balcony view alone is worth the stay. The surrounding area is breathtaking, peaceful, and incredibly well connected to everything Schönau am Königssee has to offer. The apartment itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything you need is there. But what truly elevated this stay above anything I could have expected was Willy. His hospitality is unlike anything I have ever experienced as a traveler. He made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, not like a guest checking into a room, but like a friend visiting a home. Every interaction was warm, generous, and completely sincere. It is rare to find a host who puts so much heart into what they do. Willy takes pride not just in his property, but in the experience of every single person who walks through his door. That kind of hospitality cannot be manufactured, it is simply who he is. I will be recommending Haus Lukaswinkl to everyone I know visiting Berchtesgaden. I sincerely hope to come back one day.
