Marika Hotel is truly a marvelous place to stay. From the moment we arrived, everything felt beautifully arranged and thoughtfully designed. Our suite, facing the sea, offered an unforgettable view—especially with the jacuzzi positioned right in front of us. Sitting there, overlooking the waves, was simply magical. The hotel’s location is also perfect—just a short distance from Chania’s enchanting old town and easily accessible from many directions. But what truly makes Marika Hotel stand out is its incredible staff. They are the true gems of this place. Maria, the manager, is an exceptional person. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Despite a small conflict, she did everything possible to make our experience pleasant, and I am deeply grateful for all the care and attention she gave us. Her kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression. Katerina, another wonderful member of the team, was also always helpful, warm, and attentive. In fact, it was the staff who turned our trip into such a memorable and beautiful experience. I cannot thank Maria enough for all that she did, and without a doubt, I will be returning to Marika Hotel. For me, it is the most beautiful hotel in all of Chania.

We were with our 1.5 and 3 year old. It is a great place to stay with your kids. The kids bar has everything (with plastic plates, highchairs).. There was always pasta, pizza, fries, salad and fruits. The baby pool and playground was great. The activities for kids made our life easier (Kids' Disco, Little Splashers, Parent & Baby time, Magic Show...) The different cuisin nights at dinner ( Japanese, Mexican, Greek, Italian...) was nice. Great entertainment team, smiling faces all the time. Breakfast 7:30-10:30 Snack bar 11-18 Dinner 18:30-21 Soft drinks+Beer+Wine was free. Cocktails, everything else you had to pay. There are 3 stores near the hotel, where you can buy almost everything: Pampers, swimming suite for kids, toys for kids.... We arrived early in the morning with a plane and although the chech-in was at 3 PM, we got a room at noon. Also got a room upgrade which was really nice. The beach is sandy, but when you enter the sea there are pebbles, so the swimming shoes came handy. We had a Family Suit with shared pool. The suit (3501) was next to the main swimming pool which made easy for us to reach everything and wasn't noisy at night, but we didn't have much privacy on the terrace. The sofas and beds are comfortable.

The location is great, it is close to the beach, the pool is very clean. The location is not overpopulated, there are amenities for kids, the food was very delicious and we had a huge variety to chose from every day.

This is our third stay at Oscar, and we had another excellent experience. The hotel is right on the Main Street with lots to do around. The hotel property itself is beautiful with two pools, and the friendliest and most accommodating staff- From the front desk to the cleaning staff! There is a parking lot, which helps because parking on the main street is difficult. Overall great stay, and we look forward to coming back.

I loved the area, after visiting the busy town of chania,I really liked that this location was more chill.

Gorgeous hotel, it was so clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food at breakfast and the pool bar were delicious. The pool area was really nice and relaxing. Location was perfect, so near to the beach and really nice restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend, we stayed in October and it was exvellent value.

Great hotel absolutely met our expectations. We were a big family from Cyprus (12 people), the rooms were great as described, the staff very helpful and kind always ready to help you with a smile! Great breakfast and facilities for everyone kids and adults. The pool was very big with sunbeds and supervision. Location excellent just 3-4 mins from the sea and near many shops and restaurants! Special thanks to Mrs. Eleni and all the staff there. Very kind and helpful with all our requests! Of course would like to visit again sometime in the future!

The hotel was clean everywhere: in the rooms, the restaurant, the pool area, the garden, and even the common restroom outside. The staff were very helpful, kind, smiling, and cheerful. The food was varied and tasty. It was very convenient to have the seaside so close, just across the road, and it was also great to always have free sunbeds available

Everything was great. The facilities were nice. Location was close to the beaches. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, very close to the beach side, great for walks and with several local restaurants on the sea. The hotel offer a great quality/cost ratio, allowing a cheap stay in a wonderful area. Relatively close to the more expensive Kissamos area, and to several natural tourist attractions. Great breakfast served each morning with tables in the garden and pool side. Wonderful pools, including one for adults and one for kids. The hotel staff was very useful, including to help up with a car issue.

The room was clean and spacious ( we had a room for 3 persons ) with a balcony and hot tub, the location is perfect 12 minutes walk to old town the strip near the hotel is full of restaurants that u can choose from

A newly built, exceptionally clean, lovely room, small, but everything you need. We loved the swim up pool immediately outside the room. It is very quiet in the evening, which we enjoyed, but others may be looking for a more party type of experience. This may change of course when the roof top bar is built. Lots of very good restaurants a few minutes walk and a good amount of locals restaurants and mini supermarkets. About 4 minutes walk to the beach .

I sent an email asking for us not to be on the ground floor. Our stay was upgraded. Yippee. We got a seaview.

Good facilities, excellent poor and beach. The buffet is also nice. The price is within acceptable range.
